This Dandy Gadget: Pharos Science & Applications has presented its new communicator, known as the Pharos Traveler 137 at CES 2009.
Communicator Pharos Traveler 137 is made in the classic form of the design e2e. Virtually the entire front surface of the device took a 3.5-inch touch-sensitive display with a 480 x 800 pixels resolution. Powered by Qualcomm MSM 7210A with a clock speed of 528MHz, Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, 3.0 megapixel camera, FM receiver, and more. The manufacturer emphasizes that the Pharos Traveler 137 communicator can work as a GPS-navigator in areas not covered by the operator of cellular communication.
Navigation Communicator Pharos Traveler 137 is scheduled for the first quarter of 2009. Its recommended retail price is $ 600.
