Acer Introduced Two New TravelMate Notebook Series
This Dandy Gadget: Acer introduced Two TravelMate notebook PC platforms, TravelMate 6593 and TravelMate 6493 which are already available now in the U.S. commercial channel, offers robust, secure and powerful PC solutions for corporate and small-to-medium (SMB) business customers.
TravelMate 6493 and 6593 have same specification, except the processor, screen display and capacities of memory. TravelMate 6593 has Intel(R)Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T9500, 15.4″ WXGA Acer CrystalBrite(TM) LCD with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, and 4GB DDR3. While TravelMate 6493 equips Intel(R)Core(TM)2 Duo Processor T8400, 14.1″ WXGA Acer CrystalBrite(TM) LCD with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, and 3GB DDR3.
Both of them feature Intel(R)Centrino(R) 2 Processor with vPro(TM) Technology, Integrated Intel(R) Graphics Media Accelerator 4500 MHD, 250GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive, DVD-Super Multi Double-Layer Drive, 5-in-1 Digital Media Card Reader, 802.11a/b/g/ Draft-N Wi-Fi CERTIFIED, Acer Crystal Eye Webcam, and Windows Vista(R) Business OS.
In addition, the TravelMate 6493 and 6593 can be incorporated with Acer ezDock II and ezDock II+ docking stations. The price sets at MSRP $1099-$1299(TravelMate 6493) and $1499(TravelMate 6593).via
