This Dandy Gadget: Archos, French Company announced that he was going to combine their multimedia experience with a stack of phone Android operating system. The result was a device that is called the manufacturer of multimedia Internet tablet (Internet Media Tablet, IMT).
Archos Android IMT will feature a thin shell with a thickness of 10 mm and a processor based on Texas Instruments OMAP 3. The list of technical specifications will also be 5-inch touch screen, support networks 3,5 G (HSUPA 7,2Mb/s), support for Adobe Flash Technology and Flash Video, data storage capacity up to 500 GB and battery capable of up to 7 hours in video playback mode. Productivity Archos IMT will be commensurate with the performance of laptops, so the device can record TV broadcasts in high quality and play HD-video.
There is no specific name nor an image of this device, but Archos Android IMT will be available in the third quarter of this year. Guess, the demonstration of prototypes could be held at the Mobile World Congress 2009. [Dandy Gadget Source]
