This Dandy Gadget: Samsung introduced the innovative solar powered full-touch screen phone “Blue Earth”, an Eco-friendly Mobile Phone which is powered by solar energy. This Dandy Gadget will be showcased at Mobile World Congress 2009 for the first time.
Talking an eco-friendly, This Blue Earth is made from recycled plastic called PCM, which is extracted from water bottles, helping to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions in the manufacturing process. The device, including charger, is free from harmful substances such as Brominated Flame Retardants, Beryllium and Phthalate. Not only at hardware, Samsung Blue Earth also included ‘Eco Mode’ and ‘Eco Walk’ function.
There is no fix specifications nor the price and when it will be available. But, maybe we will know soon at MWC 2009. [Dandy Gadget Source]
