More fits to your patients mouth, and its expanded cheek shield shape provides improved suction that goes deeper into the vestibule. In addition, The Medium DV mouthpiece also offers additional suction capacity within the bite block itself, assuring saliva does not pool behind the mouthpiece.
“I believe Isolite has a winner with the Medium DV mouthpiece,” Fasbinder said. “I have quite a few patients that fall between the medium and large sizes. When using the medium mouthpieces, the tongue would occasionally slip under the retractor. With the new Medium DV design, there’s enough extra retraction to address all these situations.”
