This Dandy Gadget: Coming with two precharged AA NiMH batteries,Garmin company unveiled its two latest handheld GPS devices, Garmin Oregon 550 and Garmin Oregon 550t, which are offering you a multipurpose GPS devices such asdigital cameras, and 3-axis compass that suit you in all of your activities, in any climate, on any terrain, at any time of year with its waterproof sleek design.
The differences of both of them is the map content, the Garmin Oregon 550 contains the worldwide shade relief basemap, while Garmin Oregon 500t contains the detailed U.S. topographic maps preloaded.
In addition, both new GPSs feature a 3-inch touchscreen display, a 3.2 megapixel autofocus digital camera with 4x digital zoom, geotag, a built-in 3-axis compass, USB connector, a built-in barometric altimeter tracks and 850MB internal memory.
Thanks to a microSD card slot, you can expand your storage size for more photos, mapping, and memory and allows you to view pictures from other devices. More, the devices have a long life batteries that can perform up to 16 hours and don’t consume energy when not in use, I think it’s an eco one, right?
