This Dandy Gadget: The era of slim and mini gadgets are on fire right now. Much of companies try to accomplish this demand. The newhard drive, Momentus Thin, fromSeagate is an example. Only has 7mm in height, 2.5mm thinner than the traditional hard drive makes a big step to manufacture a slimmer laptop in future time.
This new storage will be available in two size 250GB and 180GB with 8MB cache. Using a Serial ATA 3GB/second, this gadget operates in 5400RPM spin speed. It’s a good enough performance for the thinnest hard drive.
Seagate will ship Momentus Thin hard drive in January 2010 with unknown price tag yet. So, don’t buy a laptop/notebook now, just wait until this gadget on market, and we’ll have a new slimmer model, I guess?? [Dandy Gadget Source]
