This Dandy Gadget: Aimed to professional consumer, JVC unveiled a new broadcast monitor,DT-V17G1Z. Far from being merely cosmetic, it’s designed in ugly face, painted with black color, and has 17-inch non-glass LCD screen with up to 1366×768 resolution. the design is closer to a past TV. But as it’s for professional, the design is not a big thing to talk.
This new monitor is featuring a built-in waveform monitor, vectorscope, advanced audio level meter, LTC/VIT time code support, an HDMI-compatible DVI-D input, EIA-608/708 DTV closed captioning, a built-in speaker, and a rugged adjustable stand is making this gadget not only working as a professional monitor, but also as a precise measurement instrument for your broadcast and post-production application.
