Canon PowerShot SX150 IS Digital Camera, No Silver?
M. Saed
Unlike other two new compact cameras, ELPH 510 HS and ELPH 310 HS, Canon PowerShot SX150 IS is using 14.1 MP 1/2.3-inch CCD sensor, not CMOS sensor. And it’s only capable to capture in 720p video recording.
However, if you like a fat-elegance design closely to DSLR camera, Canon PowerShot SX150 IS is the right camera for you. Unfortunately, Canon seems to display only two colors for US market: black and red. Meanwhile the silver color is made only for European market (or it is going to come after).
Regarding to its specs, it features a 12x optical zoom 28mm wide-angle lens, Intelligent IS, Smart AUTO, a 3.0-inch LCD monitor, and DIGIC IV image processor engine. And thanks to a discreet-shooting mode, it helps you ensure a low disturbance when shooting is taking place.
Fashioned in 113.3 (W) x 73.2 (H) x 45.8 (D)mm and 258 g (body only), Canon PowerShot SX150 IS camera is expected to hit US market in beginning of September 2011 in MSRP $249.99. Give me the silver color, please! [Dandy Gadget Source]
