Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and 5.0 Media Player Available at US Market?

On its Facebook fan page, Samsung said that they proudly to lets you know that they launch the Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 & 5.0 PMP. When? Where? It seems it’s for US market (not sure).

Showed at MWC 2011, Both Samsung Galaxy S WiFi media players feature Android 2.2 Froyo OS, a 1GHz processor,a VGA front camera, a 3.2MP back camera, VoIP, Social Hub support, GPS, Bluetooth and microSD card slot. For the screen, Samsung Galaxy S Wifi brings the latest mDNIe image engine on its Super Clear LCD. Thus, it offers you a clear, pure, natural image on a 4.0-inch (for Galaxy S WiFi 4.0) or a 5.0-inch(Galaxy S WiFi 5.0) LCD. As note, you enable to upgrade the OS to Android 2.3.

Some said Samsung is just a follower. Some said it’s a better PMP than Apple iPod Touch in camera. Some said if we can get a cheaper price with much better featuring, why we should buy the expensive one? Then, it’s now your turn, what do you think? For me, at least Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and 5.0 give me more options to choose.

No official announcement yet about the price. Some sites wrote that the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 will be available first in Russia, and in Switzerland for the Galaxy S WiFi 5.0.
