Sony Crystal LED UNIFY Brings 135-Inch dvLED Simplicity

Sony Unveils 135-Inch Crystal LED UNIFY Display

Sony Electronics has expanded its professional display lineup with Crystal LED UNIFY, a 135-inch all-in-one direct view LED display designed for corporate and higher education spaces. Instead of making large-format dvLED feel like a terrifying engineering ritual, because apparently walls now need project managers too, this new model focuses on easier ordering, faster setup, and simpler long-term operation.

The Crystal LED UNIFY, officially listed as ZRL-135SG, is built as a fixed-size display solution with five pre-assembled display units and a separate control unit. It is aimed at boardrooms, meeting rooms, community spaces, and lecture environments where teams want a big-screen experience without dealing with a fully customized LED wall project from scratch.

A 135-Inch dvLED Built for Simpler Deployment

One of the main ideas behind Crystal LED UNIFY is reducing the complexity usually associated with direct view LED systems. Sony says the display can be installed by two people in approximately one hour, depending on site conditions and project requirements. The system does not require electrical work when the room already has a 120V/20A outlet, which should make planning easier for many professional spaces.

The package includes wall-mount brackets, five display sections, and a control unit. Once mounted, the units are connected to one another and to the control unit, while the display itself can be powered using a remote control. For IT and AV teams, this is the kind of simplification that keeps fewer people staring helplessly at cables, humanity’s favorite modern sculpture.

Bright-Room Visibility with Anti-Reflection Technology

Crystal LED UNIFY uses a 1.5 mm pixel pitch and offers up to 800 cd/m2 brightness, making it suitable for spaces with normal office or classroom lighting. Sony also includes Anti-Reflection Surface Technology, which is important for large meeting rooms where windows, overhead lights, and shiny surfaces usually conspire against readable screens.

The display is tuned for natural color reproduction and is designed to deliver a visual character consistent with Sony’s broader professional display ecosystem. That matters for organizations already using BRAVIA professional displays or other Crystal LED products, since mixed-room deployments can feel more visually consistent instead of looking like several screens had a disagreement about reality.

Designed to Work Alongside Pro BRAVIA Displays

The Crystal LED UNIFY is also built to feel familiar for users already working with Sony professional displays. It features a user interface and remote experience that align with the company’s Pro BRAVIA lineup. This should make daily control more approachable for conference rooms, classrooms, and shared spaces where not every user is secretly an AV technician.

The display supports 4K input and works with Sony’s Device Management Platform, allowing centralized management across compatible professional displays. This makes it easier to operate multi-display environments that combine Crystal LED and Pro BRAVIA screens, especially in larger corporate or education setups.

Clean Design and Long-Term Practicality

The design is intentionally minimal, with ultra-slim bezels and a slide-out, front-serviceable control unit concealed behind the display. When used with the included wall brackets, the display keeps a depth of less than 100 mm from the wall, helping it meet ADA protrusion requirements in applicable spaces.

Sony also highlights durability and lower total cost of ownership as key parts of the product’s appeal. The display includes an energy-efficient design and a protective surface coating on the LED panel to help guard against accidental contact in high-traffic environments such as lobbies, visitor attractions, and meeting rooms.

A More Accessible Route to Large-Format LED

Crystal LED UNIFY is not positioned as a tiny upgrade for someone who simply needs a bigger TV. It is a professional display solution for organizations that want a large, bright, fixed-size dvLED screen with easier deployment and ongoing management. Pricing has not been announced, because apparently suspense is now part of product strategy, but availability is planned for early 2027. Sony Electronics plans to display the product at InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas from June 17 to 19 at booth C8301.
