Versuni has expanded its floor-care portfolio in North America with the Philips OneUp, a cordless electric mop designed around a simple but meaningful idea: stop putting dirty cleaning water back onto the floor. Arriving in two versions, the Philips OneUp 3000 Series and Philips OneUp 5000 Series, the system combines separate clean- and dirty-water tanks with controlled water delivery and recovery in a compact format intended for everyday hard-floor maintenance.

A Different Approach to Everyday Mopping

The defining feature shared by both models is the dual-tank system. Instead of repeatedly dipping a mop into the same bucket, OneUp continuously introduces clean water while collecting used water in a separate reservoir. The approach is particularly relevant for kitchens, entrances, living spaces, and other areas where frequent spot cleaning can make traditional bucket-based mopping unnecessarily cumbersome.

Philips says the controlled release and recovery of water can leave floors up to 50% drier after each pass. The system is designed for a broad selection of sealed hard surfaces, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, stone, concrete, and linoleum. Beyond reducing residual water, separating the two water streams also changes the basic cleaning workflow by preventing collected dirt from being immediately returned to the floor.

OneUp 3000 Series: Simpler and Lighter

The Philips OneUp 3000 Series is positioned as the more straightforward model. It uses a single wetness setting and offers up to 50 minutes of runtime, with one tank fill covering as much as 540 square feet. This makes it the more practical choice for apartments, smaller homes, or users who mainly need an electric replacement for routine manual mopping.

Its cordless construction removes the need to work around power cables, while the integrated water supply eliminates the separate bucket. A reusable microfiber cleaning pad clicks directly into the mop rather than relying on disposable sheets or loosely attached cloths. The pad is machine washable and is expected to last for up to six months, depending on use and maintenance.

OneUp 5000 Series Adds Range and Convenience

The OneUp 5000 Series builds on the same cleaning concept but targets larger spaces and longer sessions. Its battery provides up to 70 minutes of runtime, while a full tank can cover approximately 740 square feet. Compared with the 3000 Series, it also features a slimmer, more premium form, faster charging, and larger water tanks designed for easier access.

Those differences make the 5000 less about fundamentally better cleaning technology and more about reducing interruptions during use. Both machines separate clean and dirty water and use the same basic OneUp approach, but the larger cleaning range of the 5000 Series should matter more in open-plan homes and spaces with extensive hard flooring.

An Integrated Cleaning System

Another notable detail is the detergent delivery system. OneUp uses a dedicated cleaning solution with an integrated dispenser that releases a measured amount into the water tank. The concept reduces the need to carry and manually measure detergent while keeping the cleaning process contained within the appliance itself. Both models are available at launch, with broader retail distribution expected to follow.
