The Story of the World’s Cheapest Tablet Continues in India! Datawind Ubislate 7+ Tablet

After Aakash (Ubislate 7) tablet, now Datawind is offering Indian customer with its upgraded version, Ubislate 7+.  The story about the world’s cheapest tablet still continues, this new tablet also comes with low-cost, for only $58.

Unlike its predecessor, this new tablet brings Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, a 700Mhz Cortex A8 with HD Video Co Processor, a 3200 mAh battery, and supports both WiFi and GPRS. Thus, it runs faster and having better interfaces compared to Ubislate 7. Moreover, the battery supports longer time, up to 5 hours.

Meanwhile other specs are reminding the same. It sports 256 MB RAM, 2 USB 2.0, a 7-inch resistive touch screen display with 800 x 480 pixels, a 2GB built-in flash drive, memory card slot, and 3.5mm jack. Hey, you can call or receive voice call though this tablet.

Datawind Ubislate 7+ tablet is going to be shipped in late of this month, January 2012. You could pre-order the device right now. However, the shipping will be taken in March 2012 because the January-February stocks are already booked.
