Finally, LG has footed their will on kid tablet’s field. And here is their first tablet PC for kids, ET720, called as Kids Pad. Unlike other kid tablets at market such as MEEP, OLPC XO, and Archos Child Pad, the ET720 comes with no-near-like a tablet. It brings a unique design like a paint board with four big buttons: home, + and – volume control, and camera.
Talking about your kid’s safety, the ET720 provides safe contents on its dedicated apps store or via a 4GB content cartridge. Beside the safe contents, it also features auto off, so you can control how much time your kids play their fantasy on it.
Unfortunately, there is no clear information around the specs, the company only mentioned a 17.78cm touch screen, a 1GB built-in storage, 2 x 0.7W stereo speakers, Micro USB 2.0, WiFi, and audio jack.
Fashioned in 200(W) x 154(H) x 20(D) mm with 508g, LG ET720 Kids Pad is hitting Korean market now. The price tag of around $275.99 could become a burden for this tablet in entering US market, too bad! Will it come to CES 2013?
