For giving you more pleasure in your hunting or outdoor activities, Sony unveiled the world’s first digital binoculars with HD video recording, DEV-5 and DEV-3. Both binoculars are coming with Sony G Lens optics, Exmor R CMOS sensor and powerful BIONZ processor to ensure that you could see your object clearly and record it in 2D or 3D HD resolution as well.
Through Sony DEV-5 digital binoculars you could have geo-tag on your photo or video as it features a built-in GPS receiver. It also serves you with over 10x magnification zoom. Meanwhile on DEV-3, you only have 10x maximum magnification zoom without a built-in GPS receiver. Of course, the resolution will decrease when you turn on the digital zoom. However, the Optical SteadyShot image stabilization will keeps the images clear and stable.
Powered by NP-FV70 batter, both digital binoculars offers 2 hours 2D recording. And thanks to HDMI out and USB port, you could share your contents to your big screen 3D TV or laptop or other USB enable devices.
Fashioned in sleek design with ergonomic grip, Sony new digital binoculars are expected to hit US market in November 2011 in MSRP $1400 (DEV-3) and $2000 (DEV-5). Hey, that is my beautiful bird (seeing via DEV-5). [Dandy Gadget Source]
