Featuring the Translucent Mirror technology, the new Sony camera in alpha series, SLT-A35 is designed for covering your perfect fast moving shooting. The technology allows you to do high-speed shooting with an effective 1.4x magnification at up to 7fps and an accurate continuous AF.
To maintain the maximum result, Sony added a 16.2MP Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor, the powerful BIONZ processor, and a 3.0-inch TFT Xtra Fine LCD into the camera. So you receive natural still pictures and full HD video recording. Plus, the camera lets you to insert a “Picture-effect” during your shooting. It saves your time for later editing.
Sony said the SLT-A35 camera is coming with a better battery compared to its predecessor, a33 or a 55. The battery delivers 440 still shots when using the rear LCD panel. And also the camera is compatible with most of A-mount interchangeable and six Carl Zeiss lenses. In addition, the 3D Sweep Panorama, and Live View also included.
Fashioned in light compact design with 124.4(W)x92(H)x84.7(D)mm and approx. 415g(body only), the Sony SLT-A35 alpha camera is expected to hit market in August 2011.
