I was a little surprised when I recognized that this powerful Smartphone, Nokia 808 PureView, is coming with Belle OS. I though the Windows Mobile Os will take over all of the elite of upcoming Nokia Smartphone. Since I was wrong, I must say “bravo” to Nokia’s team that finally finds their way to climb up to the top with its original OS.
Let’s make it quick! This new Smartphone employs new technology to reveal the real photography in smartphone. Nokia said it’s revolution in Smartphone imaging, I prefer say a big leap. Through 41MP sensor in tandem with Nokia PureView imaging technology and Carl Zeiss optics, the N808 could provide 38MP maximum still images, and Full HD 1080p video recording at 30fps/playback with 4x lossless zoom. It means when you are capturing moment with zoom, zoom again, and zoom again, the result will be still in clear and shape even in low light condition.
Moreover, the integrated of High Amplitude Audio Capture, unique digital microphone and Dolby Headphones completes the clear video recording with superior sound, so you don’t need a compact camcorder just to get a great instant videos. When you are ready to share your captured videos to big screen TV, HDMI and DLNA are there for you.
Regarding to its main specs, this Nokia Smartphone sports a 1.3GHz processor, a 16GB built-in storage, a memory card slot up to 32GB, a 4-inch 16:9 nHD AMOLED Corning Gorilla Glass touch screen, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, USB 2.0, microUSB, AGP, stereo FM radio, compass and so on. Unfortunately, there is no front camera.
Despite of no front camera and far from being slim, compacted in 123.9(W) x 60.2(H) x 13.9(D) with 169g mass, Nokia 808 PureView is worthy thing to be waited. When, where and how much the price is, are still unclear. Did you see this Smartphone at MWC 2012?
