Clear ice is moving beyond upscale cocktail bars and into the home, and Zephyr is leaning into that trend with its first Presrv Gourmet Clear Ice Machine. The 15-inch appliance combines a panel-ready design with crystal-clear ice production, aiming at kitchens, home bars, and entertainment spaces where a regular refrigerator ice maker may feel a little too ordinary.

Clear Ice With Adjustable Cube Thickness

The headline feature is production capacity. The Presrv Gourmet Clear Ice Machine can produce up to 80 pounds of ice per day while storing as much as 26 pounds in its integrated bin. The machine creates clear cubes designed to melt more slowly, helping chilled drinks stay cold without becoming diluted quite as quickly.

Instead of locking users into one type of cube, the machine provides three thickness settings: solid, semi-solid, and hollow. That gives users some flexibility depending on what is being served. A solid cube makes sense for spirits and slow-sipping drinks, while thinner or hollow ice can work better when quickly chilling sparkling water and other everyday beverages.

TFT Controls Simplify Cleaning and Maintenance

Ice machines require regular cleaning, because apparently even frozen water has found a way to demand maintenance. Zephyr tackles that chore with an interactive TFT touchscreen that combines diagnostics, maintenance reminders, and cleaning information. Its Easy Clean System guides owners through routine cleaning, while an onscreen QR code provides access to a cleaning video.

A built-in water filter is included to improve taste, reduce odors, and limit scale accumulation inside the system. The appliance also features Active Leak Protection, which continuously checks for internal leaks. If water is detected where it should not be, the machine automatically shuts its internal water valve to reduce the risk of damage around the installation.

Flexible Drainage and Panel-Ready Installation

Installation flexibility is another notable part of the design. Every unit supports both a built-in drain pump and a gravity drain configuration out of the box. The pump allows installation in locations where gravity drainage is impractical, while the alternative keeps things straightforward when suitable plumbing is already available.

The 15-inch format can be installed built-in, compact, or freestanding. Its field-reversible door supports different kitchen layouts, while the panel-ready exterior can accept a custom wood panel or an optional stainless steel overlay. Soft-close articulating hinges and eight-color LED lighting add some visual polish without changing the machine’s core job of producing ice.

A Premium Ice Maker Built for Home Entertaining

The smaller details reinforce its entertainment-focused positioning. An included ice scoop uses 316-grade stainless steel, chosen for corrosion resistance in wet environments, while customizable interior lighting ranges from warm and cool white to red, amber, green, cyan, blue, and violet. The result is an appliance that can disappear behind cabinetry or become a visible part of a home bar setup.

Zephyr has not provided retail pricing in the announcement, but positions the Presrv Gourmet Clear Ice Machine as a more accessible alternative within the premium appliance segment. The company is also preparing a Presrv Outdoor Gourmet Clear Ice Machine for November 2026, extending the concept to outdoor kitchens and entertaining spaces. For Zephyr, it is another step beyond its established ventilation and beverage-cooling products into increasingly specialized kitchen appliances.
