The strong commitment of helping kids around the world to recap good education is making One Laptop per Child (OLPC) showed a new move by unveiling a $100 tablet, XO 3.0, beside of its low-cost XO 1.75 laptop that will be released in March 2012.
Despite of it is for kids, this new tablet brings not weak components inside: a Marvell ARMADA PXA618 SOC processor, a 8-inch 1024 x 768 Pixel Qi touch screen LCD, 512 RAM, 4GB built-in storage, USB port, microUSB port, Avastar Wi-Fi SOC, and so on. It supports both Android and Sugar Linux OS. In short, this tablet is not like a kid tablet as Vtech tablet. Of course, the education content and games are the most chapters on this tablet.
The cheapest tablet? No, as you knew, the Ubislate 7+ is only having $58 price tag. However, this one is showing something more to kid to love it. It brings cute green rubber case. It’s not a common case. It minimizes the tablet shock during accidentally dropped and also contains a solar panel that giving the tablet 2 hours life for one hour of sun touch. OLPC XO 3.0 tablet is dancing now at CES 2012. It, according to company, will be released in this year in around $100.
