However, their different display technologies, connectivity options, and software features make them suitable for different types of users.

JSAUX E-Ink Faceplate: A Minimalist Information Display

The E-Ink Faceplate features a 5.83-inch monochrome display with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. Its relatively detailed grayscale presentation makes it suitable for displaying text, static images, and information that benefits from a clean, distraction-free layout.

Unlike conventional illuminated displays, E-Ink technology is particularly well suited to content that does not require continuous animation. This makes the faceplate an interesting option for users who prefer a restrained desktop setup rather than another constantly changing RGB accessory.

The panel includes Bluetooth connectivity and a built-in 500mAh battery. Users can manage its content through the JSAUX E-INK APP, which provides eight display modes:

The Pixel Matrix Faceplate takes a different approach with a 7-inch full-color RGB display featuring a 64 x 54-pixel matrix. Rather than emphasizing image detail, it uses individual pixels to create colorful graphics, animations, and visual indicators.

This format works particularly well for pixel art, animated GIFs, and simplified information dashboards. Its deliberately low-resolution appearance also complements retro gaming aesthetics, making it more expressive than a conventional status screen.

The JSAUX PIXEL APP provides eight display modes: Dashboard, Hardware, Weather, Clock, Playtime, Countdown, Chronograph, and Custom.

These options allow the panel to function as a small secondary interface for gaming-related information or as a decorative display. Real-time content updates add another dimension, especially for users who enjoy monitoring system activity while playing.

Neither accessory is intended to replace the primary gaming display. Their value comes from presenting selected information or decorative content directly on the system’s exterior, where it remains visible without occupying space on the main screen.
