Asus was displaying this new 3D monitor at CES 2011. It was a long time ago, but, still, there is no clear information about when it will be available for purchasing. And here I caught again its tail, now on the Asus press release at a week ago, but, still, there is no clear information also.
Is it a good 3D monitor? I’m not so sure. Indeed, this new 27-inch 3D monitor perfectly combines the Trace-Free and Dual-Side LCD Driving Technology with NVIDIA 3D technology to give you ultra-smooth-clear near life-like images with 120Hz refresh rate and 2ms tracer-free. Coupled by a built-in IR emitter sensor, tilt-swivel-height adjustable stand and NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 glasses, it guarantees that your Full HD 1080p 5M:1 contrast ratio images will be on your eyes finely without any problem at any suit position.
In addition, this new monitor also comes with HDMI, D-Sub, Dual-link DVI-D signal input. And thanks to a built-in 3W x 2 Stereo RMS, you don’t have to buy unnecessary speakers, right?
Fashioned in 643(W) x 460(H) x 220(D) mm and 8kg in black color finish, new Asus VG278H 3D monitor is still carrying a mistery on its availability and price tag. It rumored to be available in late of this month, October 2011 in around MSRP $800. If you have a better info about this 3D monitor, please let’s me know! [Dandy Gadget Source]
