However, by having much faster performance and more compact size than HDD, a lot people, including me, crossing fingers that the storage manufactures will come up with affordable SSD soon. Then, recently Crucial answered our wish by unveiling a new 1TB internal SSD, M500. So, how low can you go, M500?
While other SSDs at market are offering at around $2,500 to $5,000 price tag, this 1TB M500 with 960GB useable space, only costs you for $599.99. Yea, it’s still expensive compared to HDD but it’s a lot cheaper compared to other SSDs. At least, this 1TB M500 has created a wide bridge for future affordable SSDs. Hopefully, it will be soon a ton of affordable SSDs that having price tag as low as HDD.
