Her Name is Eluga! Panasonic Eluga Android Smartphone

We will continue our topic about the new Smartphone from Panasonic. We already knew that it will hit Europe first in March 2012, but the detail didn’t leak until yesterday. Panasonic officially told that her name is “Eluga”, and it will come to Europe a little late, in April 2012. Is there any connection between Asha, Lumia, and Eluga? Because, they look like some kind of character names in MMORPG games to me.

By bringing an IP57 waterproof-dustproof case, the Eluga can swim perfectly in your pool up to 1.5 meter underwater for 30 minutes. Not only that, it’s also so elegant in design with slim-lightweight body, only 7.8mm thickness and 108g. I hate to say this, it seems I need to sell mobile phone, mine doesn’t even stand for more than a minute in underwater.

Regarding to its main specs, the Eluga is powered by Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich later in June 2012 and features a 1GHz dual-core processor, a 4.3-inch qHD capacitive touch screen with 960 x 540 pixels, a 8GB built-in storage, a 1GB RAM, a 8MP AF rear camera, WiFi, NFC, Bluetooth, DLNA, microUSB, and so on. Unfortunately, you will have a little bit disappointment when you realized this Smartphone doesn’t include HDMI, a front camera and memory card slot.

There is no information yet about her pricing. At MWC 2012, probably Panasonic will tell us about the Eluga more.
