Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos 561 by Marc Newson, a Timepiece in Perfume Bottle Design?

Perhaps Marc Newson is not only an expert watch maker, but also a perfume bottle collector. The new timepiece from Jaeger-LeCoultre, Atmos 561, is designed in perfume bottle form (upside down position, it’s only my interpretation). Of course, you will not see any liquid or oil, inside there is only some mechanical components.

Outside of its unique form, Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos 561 is having function like common timepiece. There are two disks and hour/minute hands on dials. The first disk on the center is displaying the current month. And the second disk is placed at behind of ATMOS 561 disk to show you the moon phase. Meanwhile the case is using baccarat crystal. Like most of perfume bottle, you will see the brand of it, “Jaeger-LeCoultre” on the bottom cap.

I’m sure most of ladies will love this timepiece to be friend on her desk or bed. Unfortunately, Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos 561 seems only be auctioned in aid of charity by Artcurial Briest-Poulain- F.Tajan on 29 November 2011. French? Is it near your house? [Dandy Gadget Source]
