Levoit Eleva 300X Uses a Fully Sealed HEPA System

Levoit has introduced the Eleva 300X, a smart HEPA air purifier designed for bedrooms, home offices, and other spaces measuring up to 250 square feet. Its most notable upgrade is not simply the filter media, but a fully sealed airflow path intended to prevent untreated air from slipping around the filter before returning to the room.

A Sealed HEPA System With Measurable Airflow

The Eleva 300X has a clean air delivery rate of 161 CFM for smoke, dust, and PM2.5, increasing to 172 CFM for pollen. In a 250-square-foot room, that output provides 4.8 air changes per hour, equivalent to refreshing the room’s air roughly every 12.5 minutes under the specified conditions.

Levoit says its system-level HEPA design captures 99.97% of airborne particles measuring 0.3 microns, based on independent testing. The sealed construction matters because filter efficiency alone does not guarantee that every stream of intake air passes through the filter. The purifier measures 9.4 by 9.4 by 15.1 inches and weighs 9.9 pounds, giving it a relatively small footprint for a floor, shelf, or sufficiently large nightstand. Its operating range of 20 to 50 dB should make the lowest setting more suitable for sleep, while higher airflow will naturally produce more noticeable fan noise.

Display lights can be disabled at every fan speed, including maximum output. Power consumption is below 25.5 watts, and the unit carries AHAM Verifide and Energy Star 3.0 certifications.
