Honestly I prefer the design of MD-D-43T than Pioneer AVIC-X930BT. The AVIC-X930BT is having a common design although you might call it elegant in black color. It’s not unique design, I love unique things.
However, if you are looking for features, the AVIC-X930BT offers you a lot of interesting features. The gadget can talk wirelessly with your iPhone/iPod via Bluetooth for hands-free calling and music streaming. Perhaps you ever have bad experiences with wireless things, you can plug your iPhone/iPod via USB connectivity.
Moreover, the gadget also serves you with 5 display modes, 4GB flash memory, a 6.1-inch WVGA touch screen display, a 3D graphics accelerator, DVD playback, microSD card slot, back-up camera input, SIRIUS XM3 satellite, HD Radio, RDS-TMC traffic tuner, Dual Zone capabilities for rear seat playback and a detachable hard-button faceplate for security.
Pioneer AVIC-X930BT is expected to hit market in March 2011 in MSRP $800. But I looked at Pioneer site in product section, the pricing is $999. Hopefully the cheaper price is the price of the retail store near you. To be mentioned, the gadget is only displaying US, Alaska, Hawaii, Canada, and Puerto Rico maps. Outside the coverage area? In fact, there is no information about that. Maybe you can update the map. [Dandy Gadget Source]
