Seagate announced a new capacity in its Constellation.2 drive family, a big one, 1TB. Compacted in 2.5-inch size, the new storage can perform 6GB/s performance via SATA or SAS interface with the new T10 Protection Information standard, 1.4 million hours MTBF and a Self Encrypting Drive (SED). It’s suit solution for dense server and storage systems.
