Yet, Another Garmin-Asus GPS Smartphone at MWC 2009

This Dandy Gadget: We already talked about Nuvifone M20, yet another Nuvifone Family come along to MWc 2009, Nuvifone G60. As Nuvifone Family, Nuvifone G60 is all-in-one, LBS-centric phone, mobile web-browser and GPS navigator.

This GPS Smartphone is a Quad-band GSM with 3.5G which was designed for high speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) networks and supports Wi-Fi for fast data connections. Unlike Nuvifone M20, this device has a bigger screen display, a 3.55-inch display that features three primary icons – “Call,” “Search,” and “View Map”.

Furthermore, Nuvifone G60 features a Garmin nuvi Navigation, included Ciao!, an advanced mobile HTML, and customizable QWERTY keyboard. An interesting 3.0 megapixel camera also included with auto-focus and automatically geo-tags your images with an exact latitude and longitude reference of where your image was taken.

The price and when it will be available are still unknown. But, Garmin-Asus expects to announce it in the first half of 2009. [Dandy Gadget Source]
