Lets dig more these cameras!
Olympus TOUGH TG-820 iHS
It’s the strongest model. Based on the strong colors: red, midnight blue, silver and black, this new camera is made for serious adventurers. If you don’t count on the crushproof up to 100kg and freezeproof up to -10-degress Celsius, the metal lens barrier, sliding double lock mechanism, water-repellent and scratch double seal technology give the ability to survive up to 10m underwater and up to 2m shockproof.
To support your shooting underwater it brings LED illuminator, built-in manometer, and improved TAP Control Mode. In tandem with other interesting features such as Dual Image Stabilisation, Multi-motion Movie IS, Scene Mode and so on, this camera guarantees your enjoyment shooting through a 3.0-inch 1,030,000 dot Super Precision HyperCrystal III LCD as well as top quality of 1080 Full HD video recording or still images.
Fashioned in 101.4(W) x 65.2(H) x 25.9(D) mm and 206g in sleek design, Olympus TOUGH TG-820 iHS rugged camera is going to hit Europe in middle of February 2012 in 279 Euro and followed in US in March 2012 for MSRP $299.99.
Olympus TOUGH TG-620 iHS
The availability of white, green, light blue, and pink shows this camera is aiming the teen user, perfectly become girl’s thing.
Compared to TG-820, the TG-620 is weaker in protection. By coming with hard glass lens barrier without improved TAP Control Mode and built-in manometer, it only features up to 5m waterproof and 1.5m shockproof, still, tough enough to deal with your adventure.
Beside a 3.0-inch 460,000 dot HyperCrystal III LCD, other specs are the same as TG-820. It employs a built-in flash, HDMI, USB port, memory card slot, rechargeable battery, metal body, 1080 full HD video recording, Pet Detection Mode, and so on.
As it’s for girl (if I’m not wrong), Olympus TOUGH TG-620 iHS is compacted in smaller, slimmer and lighter, 98.4(W) x 65.9(H) x 21.9(D) mm with 167g. Although, there is no information yet about this camera for US, but likely it will arrive in both Europe and US in the same time as the TG-820. The pricing of the TG-620 is 249 Euro.
If I were girl, I will choose Olympus TOUGH TG-620 iHS, the pink one. What do you think?
