High-Definition Broadcast and Entertaninment Camera, Phantom V12.1

This Dandy Gadget: Contained 1280×800 high-definition CMOS sensor, Vision Research unveiled its latest broadcast and entertainment camera, Phantom V12.1 camera at NAB 2009, Las Vegas which can record over 6,933 fps at 720p HD resolution and 6,242 fps in a wide aspect ratio. The gadget features low-noise and unprecedented light sensitivity with an active pixel size of 20 microns, support both 8- and 12-bit pixel depth, a video-out port, and compatible with Vision Research’s CineMag system.

A new feature in the Phantom V12.1 compared with its predecessor is the internal shutter that can be used for shading the lens. With that feature you don’t have to do physically access this new camera to perform a CSR, you can do it by remote or program the camera automatically.
