Removing 0 in V-LUV 30 means 24x Superzoom! Leica V-LUV 3 Compact Camera

Compared to V-LUV 30, this new Leica V-LUV 3 compact camera, based on its code name, is only separated by zero. However, it doesn’t mean it comes with so compact like V-LUV 30, it’s more close to V-LUV 2 in design with better grip.

So, what does the removing zero mean? It seems this new camera releases its barrier to show you the full power of 24x optical zoom through its Leica DC Vario-Elmarit lens. Coupled by a 1/2.3-inch CMOS sensor with 12.1 MP effective megapixel and stereo microphone, it boast a wonderful focal length range from a 25 mm wide angle to a 600 mm, 12fps burst shooting in full resolution or 60fps in 3.5MP resolution and 60fps full HD 1920 x 1080p AVCHD video recording in clear-free noise images and sound.

Regarding to its remains specs, this Leica camera features a 3.0-inch 461k pixels TFT LCD with EVF, a 70MB built-in storage, a memory card slot, USB 2.0, mini HDMI, PictBrigdge, and 895 mAh lithium-ion battery.

Coming with 124(W) x 80(H) x 95(D) mm and 540g in black color finish, Leica V-LUV 3 compact camera is going to show to the world in January 2012. The price tag is still cloudy. Surely, it will bring a higher price than V-LUV 30 or V-LUV 2. [Dandy Gadget Source]
