New Sony HXC-100 HD Studio Camera

This Dandy Gadget: Along with Sony HSC-300, Sony company also introduced HXC-100 which is designed  provide broadcasters a high-quality, yet more accessible entry into HD production. I said this one is a little brother of HSC-300, because both of them have almost identical specifications, such as: using Sony’s digital triax transmission technology, a 2/3-inch Power HAD FX CCD with 2.2 million pixels, a range of automatic features, and consistent with Sony’s HDC-1500 series camera.

But as a little brother, Sony HXC-100 HD studia camera is not compatible with Sony’s existing large lens and only can be used with triax cable runs of up to 850m. Don’t be disappointed with low specs, the price of this device is much cheaper, is around MSRP 45,900 and you will find it at May 2009. [Dandy Gadget Source]
