Arabic Support Arrives on the Thermomix TM7

Vorwerk has added Arabic support to the Thermomix TM7, giving the connected cooking appliance a more complete interface for Arabic-speaking users. The update is more substantial than a simple menu translation: it introduces a right-to-left interface, an Arabic keyboard, and Arabic support for on-device Guided Cooking. For households that previously had to navigate the TM7 in another language, this should make everyday operation and recipe discovery considerably more approachable.

Arabic localization reaches the TM7 itself

Arabic can be selected as the device language regardless of the country where the Thermomix TM7 is being used. That is an important detail for expatriate families and Arabic-speaking communities outside the Middle East, because access is not tied to a regional hardware model or location.

Once enabled, the appliance displays its interface in Arabic and changes the layout direction to match Arabic reading conventions. The accompanying Arabic keyboard lets users enter text and search directly on the touchscreen instead of relying on transliterated terms or switching languages. This is a practical usability upgrade, especially on an appliance built around step-by-step digital guidance.

Right-to-left design matters beyond translation

Localizing a touchscreen interface requires more than replacing words. Navigation order, alignment, controls, and text flow all need to feel natural in a right-to-left environment. By adapting the TM7 layout as well as its language, the update should reduce friction when users move through settings, recipe steps, and search results.

The biggest benefit is likely to appear during Guided Cooking, where clarity matters at every stage. Instructions presented in a familiar script and direction can make it easier to follow timing, ingredient, and preparation prompts while working in the kitchen. However, the announcement does not indicate changes to the TM7 hardware or its core cooking functions, so this is primarily an accessibility and software-localization update.

More than 100 Arabic recipes are planned

The rollout includes more than 100 Arabic recipes inspired by cuisines from Morocco, Algeria, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Tunisia, and Egypt. That regional spread gives the collection more value than a narrow selection centered on only one national cuisine. Examples referenced in the announcement include mezze, kibbeh, kabsa, molokhiya, and couscous.

There is an important limitation at launch. Although the TM7 device interface supports Arabic from September 21, 2026, the Arabic-language Cookidoo app and web experience are still being developed and are expected by the end of 2026. Until those versions arrive, recipes from other Cookidoo languages remain in their original language, even when displayed within the device’s Arabic right-to-left environment.

Who benefits from the update?

The clearest target audience is Arabic-speaking TM7 owners who prefer to navigate and cook in their primary language. It may also help multilingual households share the appliance more easily, since the device language can be selected independently of location. The combination of localized controls and culturally relevant recipes makes the update useful both for experienced users and for family members who previously found the interface less accessible.
