Doubtless tablet is a trend right now. So, I’m not so surprised that we didn’t hear big sound of desktops or laptops in recent time. Yes, the laptops and desktops are still walking into market, but not fast as before, right? Anyway, at the next December 2011, Toshiba is going to release a new tablet into U.S market, Thrive 7”.
According to its code name, Toshiba Thrive 7” tablet is coming with a 7-inch 1280 x 800 hi-resolution LED backlit AutoBrite multi-touch display. Despite of its compact size, the new tablet is having all the specs of its big brother 10” tablet. Let’s say: a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, NVIDIA graphics, a 2 MP front HD camera, a 5MP rear HD camera, Wifi, Bluetooth, HDMI port, and so on. And it’s powered by Android 3.2 OS.
Fashioned in only 0.47 inches thin, and 0.88 pounds, Toshiba Thrive 7” tablet is expected to hit U.S market in two size storages: 16GB and 32GB in black color. Hopefully, it will have under $200 starting price tag, right? Or Santa will give you for free as Christmas gift. [Dandy Gadget Source]
